By accessing and using Sky Volleyball’s websites, programs, or services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not accept any part of these Terms, please do not use the Services.

2. Services Overview

Sky Volleyball offers volleyball-related programs, events, training services, and online resources to athletes, coaches, families, and affiliates across Canada and the United States. These Terms apply to all users—including athletes, guardians, staff, and club affiliates—who access or use our Services.

3. Registration and Account Security

Eligibility: Individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete their registration and consent to their participation.

Account Accuracy: You agree to provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information during registration and to promptly update it as needed.

Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.


4. Code of Conduct

All participants—including players, coaches, parents, spectators, and volunteers—are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and professionally. Sky Volleyball enforces a zero-tolerance policy for:

Harassment, discrimination, or bullying

Verbal or physical abuse of athletes, coaches, staff, or other members

Unsportsmanlike or disruptive behavior

Any behavior that violates applicable safe sport guidelines in your region

Violation of this policy may result in removal from the program without refund.

5. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations

Payments: Program fees are due at the time of registration and are based on the posted rates for each event or service.

Refund Policy: Refunds follow Sky Volleyball’s posted refund policy, which may vary by program and location. Refund eligibility depends on notice period, reason for withdrawal, and timing.

Cancellations: Sky Volleyball reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to low enrollment, facility issues, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Participants affected by cancellations may be offered a refund or credit toward a future program.


6. Privacy Policy

By using our Services, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed across Sky Volleyball and its affiliated programs in Canada and the U.S.

7. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Ownership: All content—including text, images, logos, video, and software—is the property of Sky Volleyball or its content providers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Use Restrictions: You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any site content without prior written permission.

User Submissions: By uploading content (e.g., photos, testimonials, or event media), you grant Sky Volleyball a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and share that content for promotional or educational purposes.


8. Compliance with National & Regional Governing Bodies

Sky Volleyball and its affiliates comply with the rules and guidelines set by national and regional volleyball organizations, including but not limited to:

Recruitment & Communication Rules (e.g., blackout periods, parental consent requirements)

Screening & Certification: All coaches and staff must meet region-specific requirements (e.g., background checks, Safe Sport/Respect in Sport certifications)

Safe Sport Protocols: All programming follows responsible coaching principles, including the Rule of Two, and prioritizes athlete safety above all.

Each affiliate is responsible for compliance within its governing jurisdiction.

9. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

Participation in volleyball and physical activities carries inherent risks. By registering for a Sky Volleyball program or event, you voluntarily accept those risks and agree that Sky Volleyball and its affiliates are not liable for injuries, loss, or damage, except where liability is required by law.

You agree to release Sky Volleyball, its coaches, volunteers, and affiliates from all claims arising from participation, unless prohibited by law in your region.

10. Modifications to Terms

Sky Volleyball may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via website notices or direct communication. Continued use of the Services after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the province or state in which the program is delivered, unless otherwise specified. If no local jurisdiction applies, disputes will be governed under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, all parties agree to first attempt resolution through informal discussion or mediation. If unresolved, legal action must be taken in the applicable jurisdiction based on the program’s location.
